Kevin Eidick

Kevin is a professional Landscape Architect. He has experience in landscape design, land diagnosis, and landscape construction. He’s a member of both the Alberta Association of Landscape Architects and the Canadian Society of Landscape Architecture. Plus, he holds a Permaculture Design Certificate as well. 

Takota Coen

Takota is a permaculture educator and author. He co-owns Coen Farm – an award-winning 250-acre permaculture farm that products nutrient-dense pork, grass-fed beef, pastured eggs, forest garden berries, and herbal teas. Takota is a second-generation organic farmer who holds a Permaculture Design Certificate, a Holistic Management Certificate, and a Red Seal Journeyman Certificate for Carpentry. 

Chris Kay

Chris is an entrepreneur and co-owner of Kayos Farm. He and his family are actively designing and developing their dream property in the Foothills of Alberta. Chris holds a Bachelor of Kinesiology, several National Coaching Certifications, and a Permaculture Design Certificate as well.


To paraphrase the great Bill Mollison: a revolution without gardens is futile. We cannot attack (or even ignore) a system that we’re dependent on. That’s why, at BYH, we’re dedicated to developing regenerative, sustainable, and thriving permaculture properties – all over the world.
